The 088A Semiautomatic Bag Closing Machine uses the same bag closures and bag closure-labels used by Kwik Lok's Automatic Bag Closing Machines. The 088A can substantially reduce or minimize closure inventories by permitting the use of the same bag closures in packaging situations where both automatic and semi-automatic systems are needed. The 088A is easy to operate and can close bags at speeds up to 30 bags/minute.

The 088A is available with an optional printer allowing the packager to print price, dates, codes on the closure as the bag is being closed.

The 088A is engineered with the same high fabrication standards as the automatic bag closing machines, yielding years of trouble-free, dependable operation.

When used with the 884 Printer, the packager can print bar codes and other packaging information on the Series "P-200", Series "T-220", Series "PM-200", and Series "TM-220" closure-labels. These closure-labels can then be run through the 088A and/or the 865 Automatic.

088A WITH PRINTER
The 088A can be purchased with an optional printer for printing prices, dates, codes, etc., on the Kwik Lok all-plastic closure as the bag is being closed.

The Printer uses hardened steel type and a dry cold-transfer printing tape yielding distinct, durable impressions on every closure. Type can be changed in seconds. A roll of tape will yield up to 40,000 impressions.

PRINT YOUR OWN LABELS WITH KWIK LOK'S 884 THERMAL PRINTER
The 884 Thermal Printer is designed to preprint labels prior to application to the bagged product.

The printer will print most common bar codes along with text copy.

The print head is constructed of ceramic material with a projected head-life of more than 2 million labels. The printer can print at speeds of 192, 384 or 640 labels per minute.

After printing the labels they can be recoiled and run in the 088 Semiautomatic Bag Closing Machine. Recoilers are sold separately.
884 THERMAL PRINTER
We can print one-side; You print the other side
Labels can be preprinted on the front with your customized graphics. You can preprint in any number of colors, 4-color process or spot colors.

The back is then printed by the 884 Thermal Printer in your plant with package variables such as bar codes, varieties, weights, grades, etc.

When the labels are applied to the bagged package the custom printed side will face outwards towards the consumer with the 884 printed copy on the back (facing the package).
BAG NECK TRIMMER
An optional Bag Neck Trimmer is available with the 088 machine. The Trimmer trims excess bag neck material to approximately 1-1/4" above the closure while the bag is being closed.

The Trimmer is detachable, snapping on and off easily.

Stand for the 088A Bag Closing Machine

The stand has casters that permit the stand to be easily moved. The stand can store an extra reel-mount assembly, permitting the convenient storage of closures and closure-labels.

Height of the bag closing machine can be adjusted between 20" and 46". The 088 can also be rotated 90 degrees and has horizontal adjustments.
